Happy Earth Day!

by blair on Apr.22, 2009, under Daily

So today is Earth day… Oh boy.  Just another way for the left wingers to shove their flawed science down everyone’s throats.  I have no problem with keeping the Earth clean, and such.  I just hate the way that these “environmentalists” love to use today as yet another excuse to try to convince everyone that the Earth is in such a dire situation that we need to spend billions on “research.” I love the Earth and try to be friendly, such as not littering, and having a car that gets good mileage.  The earth is in a cycle, and there is nothing we can do about it.  It happens. A couple decades ago we were all freaking out over the fact that the earth was cooling, and worried about a nother ice age, but now we think that the earth is warming at such an alarming rate that we need to spend money we don’t have to figure out a lie?  Al Gore needs to leave, and listen to the founder of the Weather Channel who said that global warming is crap. To celebrate today, I drove excessively, left lights when I wasn’t at home, and littered.

Tax Day Tea Parties

by blair on Apr.17, 2009, under Daily

I really wish I could have attended the Tea Party that was held in Madison a couple days ago. I am sick of the current tax talks, and even more sick of all the people in the Obama Administration who never paid their taxes. Can you imagine what would happen if I decided to stop paying my taxes? The government would start chasing me with helicopters until I coughed up their money plus interest. But when someone in the financial area of the government doesn’t, it’s said “Oh, it’s okay. Let’s have you run the entire financial and tax system of this entire government even though you can’t manage your own.” But back to the Tea Parties. I would have attended if I hadn’t had a server emergency. Then, CNN, MSNBC, and all of the other dirt bag, far, FAR left leaning news stations (if you can even call them news stations) jump all over the protesters. They claim that they (the protesters) are anti-American because they are protesting taxes. Uh, hello!!?? This nation was founded on the premise that WE THE PEOPLE have the authority to speak our minds. CNN, one of the unbelievably biased “news stations” sent this reporter to, basically, ream out those who oppose the lefts tax increases:

Hmmm, wonder why she is still with CNN… Oh right. The 5 people who watch their channel are all anti-whatever-cnn-tells-them-to-be-against. Ridiculous. And it doesn’t stop there… Anderson Cooper and David Shuster take it to a horrible level, and throw the Tea Party into nasty sexual remarks, calling them “Tea Baggers.” Can you imagine what would have happened if the conservatives made fun of the liberals for protesting their environmental and global warming crap? Check out this clip from Red Eye on these deplorable remarks:

This stuff sickens me to a level that is unbearable. The worst part is the fact that the mainstream “news stations” cover this as though the conservatives who oppose it are the devil! The complete and utter dope Janeane Garofalo goes on the complete anti-good Keith Olbermann’s MSNBC TV show, and calls everyone who was at any Tea Party racist! Racist!!?? She says that anyone who is against this isn’t against the taxes, but against our “Black President.” What kind of moronic comment is this? Tons of the Tea Parties had African American speakers opposing Obama’s taxes! She makes me want to vomit. She needs to shut her big fat mouth-hole and shut up! Why is she on television giving her opinion? She’s a freakin’ comedian. She goes on to say that no matter what the issue, if anyone is against ANYTHING that Obama says, they are racist and only talking against him because he’s black. Goes to show you that MSNBC’s ratings are so low that they have to do anything possible to bring viewers. This is her on his show, she comes in at 3 minutes.

I am scared where this country is headed with these far left people leading. The DNC tells Obama to dance to their tune, and everyone in the mainstream media follows them without question. They say it and it is law. A sad, sad time. It sickens me that when us conservatives are against something that the liberals are proposing, we are racists, sexist, immigrantist, and any other -ist that you can think of; but when liberals badmouth, and by badmouth I mean tear to shreds, any conservative politician, president, talkshow host, etc. life is good and they are expressing themselves in a way allowable by the constitution. Hmm, makes you wonder why Fox News is the #1 most watched news channel, and has shows that even in a 5pm timeslot (Glenn Beck) beats out MSNBC’s primetime programming by a longshot. Congrats, Fox News for making news bipartisan. Unfortunately the people who are so far left that they are basically a right angle who watch MSNBC, CNN, ABC News, and the like think that Fox News appears radical, even when they are fair, balanced, and independent. Time to wake up and see the world though bipartisan eyes.

Term Limits on Congress Needed!

by blair on Apr.17, 2009, under Daily

So there is one thing that has been bothering me lately. Why do we not have term limits on Congress? All these senators and congressmen have nothing to worry about if they have the majority vote. Example is Senator Dodd; he’s been in office for over 3 decades. That’s more than 30 years!! He is one of the most far left losers out there, and one of the people who were involved in the AIG bonus scandal. Senate Dodd, go away. We need to impose term limits on these offices so we don’t have people with extremely old ideas clogging our democracy.

Striking – Why?

by blair on Apr.06, 2009, under Daily

I’ve never liked workers, mostly unions, that go on strike for more money. Why do they feel they need to do this? The strike that irritated me the most was the writers strike of 2008. Those selfish people stopped dozens of tv shows just because they figured they wanted more money. Now, people are striking NOW during this horrible recession. AT&T workers, be glad you even have a flippin’ job. I’d take your job for half price in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, the high ups in business meet their demands. If my employees ever striked, I wouldn’t hesitate to dismiss their demands and hire new people. But that’s my opinion.
